International: ABEPSS meets with the International Association of Schools of Social Work

On May 11, ABEPSS met with the International Association of Schools of Social Work (IASSW), virtually. At the meeting, the associations discussed the situation, their actions in the midst of the pandemic and the relationship between the entities.
The meeting was attended by ABEPSS President Rodrigo Teixeira, IASSW President Anna Maria Campanini, IASSW member large Alexandra Mustafá and ABEPSS International Relations Coordinator Ramiro Dulcich. The meeting was organized by Alexandra Mustafá.
At the meeting, ABEPSS presented the situation in Brazil to IASSW, both with regard to the conjuncture, with information about the reality of Covid-19 in Brazil, the increase in unemployment and hunger in the country, as well as the challenges of professional training. and education in general.
The president of IASSW, Anna Maria Campanini, presented the actions developed by IASSW, the working groups and research on professional training in Social Work in the world, with an emphasis on standarts / worldwide parameters of quality of training. Campanini also presented the actions to monitor and implement the global agenda for Social Work, and also exposed the actions to the United Nations.
