7th International Conference on Practice Research Pre-Conference Webinar Series First Webinar: Uniqueness of Practice Research

Dear Social Work colleagues and students,

The 7^th International Conference on Practice Research (ICPR7) will be held in Singapore from 7^th to 9^th July 2026, not including pre-conference workshops on 6^th July and post-conference practice research site visits 10^th July 2026. In leading to the Conference, we are organising a pre-conference webinar series to promote discussion and exchange on practice research around the world.

The first webinar will be held on Monday 21 February 2025 at 2pm to 3.30pm Singapore Time via ZOOM.  This webinar will focus on the Uniqueness of Practice Research. A team of leading scholars from around the world will present their views about the uniqueness of practice research in comparison with other types of research and methodologies, as well as the way it is taught, carried out, and its impact on service users.
