Theme:
The Forum will explore the CSocD63 priority theme: Strengthening solidarity, social inclusion, and social cohesion to accelerate the delivery of the commitments of the Copenhagen Declaration on Social Development and Program of Action of the World Summit for Social Development, as well as the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
Highlights Include:
– Opening remarks from key UN and civil society leaders
– Thematic sessions on grassroots perspectives, intergenerational collaboration, and safeguarding the future
– Contributions from distinguished speakers, including ambassadors, UN representatives, and grassroots leaders
– Strategic planning and multi-stakeholder collaboration towards the Second World Summit for Social Development in November 2025
This event serves as a unique opportunity for civil society to engage in meaningful discussions, exchange ideas, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders around the themes and deliberations of the Commission for Social Development as we look ahead to the 2025 World Social Summit.
